Working in
close collaboration with “Sincerely Syria” the objective of
“Music Syria” is to portray to the international audience
an image of Syria and its people more in tune with real life.
Often, the view of a country in the international arena is
clouded by events well beyond the control of its people and this
view could be considerably distorted. “Music Syria” was set up
as a private, non- profit venture with the aim of providing a
more realistic image of Syria through its culture, its monuments
and, primarily, the artistic expressions of its people. It is
the intention of the team behind the project to convey a message
free from any political or religious bias appealing to the
“intelligent” international, multicultural Internet audience on
a worldwide scale.
No less
important, “Music Syria” aspires to have considerable impact on
Syria’s cultural life, and very specially, among children and
young people by speaking in an innovative, positive language
that will prove attractive to them.
Last, but
by no means least, Music Syria will be offering uninterrupted
music through its free exclusive downloadable music player. This
player offers twelve different music channels to cover all
tastes.
In short, “Music Syria”
will aim to influence the way Syria is perceived abroad by the
international audience and also by Syrians inside Syria. This
very ambitious task will be undertaken by introducing a new
language and style that will help project the image of positive
“change” among Syrians and to encourage a favourable learning
environment for children and young people in Syria.
