Lubana Al Qintar, came from Suweida region - the inspiring land of the South of Syria- to join The High Institute of Music in Damascus in 1993 where she studied under the supervision of Russian teacher Galina Khaldiave. Lubana soon excelled as a soprano and was invited to participate in concerts when she was only on the second year of her music studies. |

The Syrian musician Issam Rafea was born in Kuwait in 1971and joined the Damascus High Institute for Music in 1990 where he specialized in lute and double bass under the supervision of professors Fayez Zahr El-Din and Askar Ali-Akbar.
