Syrian Culture
The Syrian Handicrafts industry is the perpetuation of a long-existing heritage in the making of textile material, kilims, glass, copper utensils and furniture with exquisite detailing.

People have imprinted their stories, fears, passions and aspirations, expressed themselves through the complexity of the cloth or furniture graphics. The people of Syria have always found their salvation in the Handcraftsmanship, at home or at the workplace, and were the originators of the contemporary oriental art - a booming industry in the world of today.

Who was Albert Einstein? The Father of Relativity

Source: Phosphore Magazine

 A Rebellious Teenager
Albert was born in 1879 Ulm, Germany. Raised in a well-off middle class, non-religious Jewish family, he had a fine childhood but the parents were little concerned because little Albert had trouble speaking. He finally uttered his first words at 3 years old: "The milk is too hot" - a fast catching-up!
At 12 years old, influenced by his engineer uncle, he studied the geometry of Euclid and a year later, he read the philosophy of Kant. But in school, he was a real mess: he rejected authority and hated learning by heart! At 15, he abandoned school in Munich so he can escape the military service.

 A
neglected genius
At 17 years old, he entered the Polytechnic School of Zurich in Switzerland  where he met his first wife, Mileva. A year after his graduation, he was still jobless as judged by his professors to be dangerously independent...
Later on, he worked as an engineer at the Federal Office of Graduates in Berne and in his free time he devoted himself to Physics - his passion!

 A recognized Scientist
In 1905, he published 4 articles in a prestigious Physics magazine that made his reputation. Primo, Einstein suggests that light is made up of small particles called "quanta". Secundo, he legitimates the atomic structure of substances by explaining the Brownian movement. Tertio, he develops the theory of Restrained Relativity that redefines the connection between space and time. Also establishes the mass-energy equation: E=mc2. By then, all universities welcomed him and he got  to publish the theory of General Relativity and established the first cosmological model. In 1921, he was granted the Nobel Prize for the development of the quanta theory.

 Lonely but interdependent
Absorbed in his equations and the Pacifist cause, Einstein forgot a bit about his family. He'd rather play the violin or even go boat sailing instead of taking care of his children. With the emergence of the Nazis, Einstein  militated in favor of the Zionists' disarmament. He went to the States to teach at  Princeton University before Hitler took power. Deeply worried about the development of the atomic bomb by the Germans, he personally asked President Roosevelt to accelerate research in the USA.
He regretted his action when E=mc2 saw daylight in a fatal application in Hiroshima. He died in Princeton 1955. It is said that doctors have kept his brain with the hope of discovering the secret of his genius spirit.
